Tim Sattelmeier began teaching skiing in the late 80s at small resort in Northern Michigan where he grew up skiing.

He taught at several US resorts before settling in Park City in 96. He is level III PSIA certified in alpine and telemark. He now teaches full time at Park City Mountain Resort.

His days off once were spent in the backcountry but now they are mostly spent with his two little boys. In the summer, Tim is a river guide, rafting the canyons of the Colorado Plateau and a writer.
